A bathymetric survey, sometimes referred to as a fathometric survey, is a type of hydrographic (water-based) survey that uses sonar to map the depths and shapes of underwater terrain to illustrate the soft bed levels. Combined with our water level logging equipment, we can give you accurate tidal river levels over a set period of time.
Data can be collected for a variety of water bodies, including rivers, lakes and estuaries, and the data can be used to inform volumetric flow, flood assessments, silt build-up and project developments.
